Sweet. Violent. Empowered.

When creating this jacket I was running with the sentence “Sweet but Violent” and the first thing that popped into my head was this sweet little Japanese woman. I imagined that she just got news that her partner had cheated on her or wronged her in someway. Knowing that her partner parked their car outside her apartment without missing a beat she races down the stairs barefoot. At the car chaos ensues, a 1969 Chevelle meets her wrath. After the chaos, she pulls a lollipop from her pocket, sits on the wreckage, basking in her own creation.

In Japanese the words Sweet but Violent glow next to her so no one will ever forget who she is, or who you are.
